Tear in Driver Seat Cushion 2004 coupe

Any one found a cost effective way of repairing tear or replacing leather. Called stealership today for replacement leather seat cover for cushion which cost $1481, ha!

Any aftermarket alternatives besides replacing seats?

Thanks for above reply. Got a quote from local upholstery shop to redo side panel seat vinyl and replace side cushion bolster for $220. Not bad, I guess, but pretty costly for a $15 piece of vinyl.

If there is anyone located in the bay are I can handle it for you. If not just find your local trim shop and the $250-$300 price sounds fair for a repair.

That is about the right price for a vinyl repair and defiantly a good cheaper option. If you want the real leather it will be in the $250-$300 range just cause of the price of material. It all comes down to what you want. The vinyl now looks and feels so real not any people would ever know unless they were very familiar with materials.
