bluebatmobile headlight overlays.

in his website www.bluebatmobile.com, i see two styles headlight overlays: smoked with circles (GTR) and full smoked. for those with the full smoked headlight overlay, how's the light output? although the GTR ones look beautiful, i am considering blacking out the whole front.

and for those who have these overlays in general, any problems with installing? headaches?

thanks in advanced!

No problems at all. I didn't install them I had a graphics shop do mine for me. I think it would be easier if you had a tint shop do it for you unless your good at putting on tint. Good luck on your install and post pics!!

Just a heads up guys, if the film is actually window film that this guy is using, then it won't last very long. Window film is meant to be used on the inside and will degrade / fade if exposed to the elements on a day to day basis. There's also the concern of it being installed on plastic parts......over time it could bubble as window films' adhesives were designed for glass properties.

Just concerned for my G bros out there..........it looks cool tho!

bat's overlays r made from vinyl (good quality). I have the gtr tail light overlays and let me tell u, they r a b**** to install. I strongly recommend getting it professionally installed or you will have air bubbles and misplacement. I did it myself and it turned out okay.... I still have air bubbles (you can barely see unless your like 2 ft away). I had to actually cut some of the overlays to make it fit right. I am planning on ordering another pair of GTR overlays to get them installed properly so it looks professional.

Besides the hassle of install, they look beautiful on the G. Especially if you have a black coupe. OMG!! Its so sexy on black coupes. I have to post pics one day when the weather gets better.

yes, theyre vinyl that lasts 7 years... get them installed at a tinting shop for like $30...

as far as pics of the GTR's, GReddy, scroll to the top of this page... the GTR's have holes cut out for the lights to shine mo better!

i got them in my rear... full overlays, not GTR's...

if fulll smokes are on the rear lights, how much % is the light output diminished. is it still safe?

also, (not that I care) are these smoked overlays legal in CA?

You stand corrected. I don't use Window Tint Film for ANY of my applications. It wont last, and it's much harder to work with.

All my Overlays are made from 7 Year High Performance Vinyl. Extremely durable and lasts a long time with no fading or peeling.
