Blacked out headlights question? Anyone have these??

I am looking at buying blacked out headlights. I want the ones where the cover is clear but the inside is black. The one that I'm looking at has the part number: LH-G3503JM-KS

Anyone have any input on these or suggestions for others? I've heard guys say crack them open and carefully black it out yourself, but I'm not so comfortable doing that. Thoughts?

Painting your headlights is very easy, there is a diy floating around somewhere. You just bake your headlights warm enough to loosen up the sealant and then pry them apart unscrew a few screws and take it out and paint it. Let it dry and reverse the process and you're done for the price of like $20

Try SERACH using DIY Headlight Painting, there is a sticky that gives you detailed information on the "How To's."

Thanks for the helpful posts! I'll probably be doing them by myself. Anyone know what kind of paint to use? I have a paint sprayer that I've used on previous cars of mine for painting an aftermarket bumper for example.

Most people just use rattle can but if you have a sprayer and want to use that then go ahead
