Billet Grille

Hey guys, fairly new member to the forum. Santa brought a new billet grille for my DG coupe. It comes painted black with the front strakes polished silver. Easy to install and fit and finish is top notch.

Probably doesn't look as good on darker cars but integrates nicely with the diamond graphite paint. Pic isn't the best but Philly is dreary this time of year.

Thoughts?

Hmm, I'm not so sure I like it.. I've seen one at the dealership before, maybe it was the craftsmanship of the grille, but it wasn't too flush w/ the overall look of the car. The G I saw also had billet style on the two front bumper vents too, maybe that was what made it over the top

You're right, I've seen pics of the two lower vents plugged with grille inserts as well...way over the top (see att'mt). Hopefully an intercooler is in my future so wouldn't want to cover it up peeking through the lower fascia.

As far as being flush the billet grille meets the hood at the same rake and continues to arc down smoothly, though it ends up a little more "horizontal" than the stock grille. What I do like about it is my car is totally debadged front and rear, which lets eyes focus on the clean chisled lines of the hood.

Thanks for your feedback guys!

Here's the link...it's by far cheapest from this company at $190. (Stillen sells it for $250). You can also get the lower inserts for $175 but I think they detract from the look. They say you can reattach your emblem but it would definately take some creative engineering to do so since the billets are much tighter than the on the stock grille.

Install was simply, about 30 minutes. Fits like a glove. Good luck
