i got mine black chromed by this guy in cerritos. it is not something sprayed on but actually a nickel plating. cost was around 100 bucks. he had some already done so he just took my silver ones and installed the ones he had. make sure you have the template before taking your emblems off to get the alignment and spacing of the letters right.


also, have any of you noticed how the last "I" in "INFINITI" on all of our trunks looks to be higher than the rest of the letters?

Man....i thought I was the only one with the messed up emblem! Every time I ask someone if they see it the same way they just call me a freak with an overactive right brain cuz I am left handed!!

P.S.
I too have the black pearl emblems...dealer installed for $200 when I bought my car from Tustin Infiniti (CA). They have lots of cars there with black pearl emblems.
