I have a question.

Say you had your car painted and the vin number decals were removed from the door jambs when they painted it.

Is there anyway of ordering replacements for these? If so where can they be ordered.

Ive read that is possible but didnt really see anything regarding Infinitis.

i just tried to get these myself and had no luck. i had my car repainted and the people that painted it didnt put another one on. i went to dealership to order one and they said that the body shop should have taken pictures of it and sent those in to have new ones ordered. they still tried to place an order for me but it was rejected becuase they had no proof. if you get one or someone that can get you one let me know. good luck hope you get yours

 

there's a service bulletin for this, ITB09-063 - CERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT

 

If you live in california chp can reissue the vin with whats called a blue tag .
