IMPUL poly sides installation help

I am getting ready to have my local body shop install the side-skirts. They are from VIS and came with no installation instructions like my poly lip did.

Looking at them there are not any mounting holes etc... Just some small strips of 3m tape on the top end lips. I am stationed in Oklahoma, so I am CERTAIN the shop could use all the help they can get. As with any true car enthusiast I want the job done both correctly and cleanly.

I just do not want it stuck up there with various screws mounted wherever...

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

take it to a shop that knows what theyre doing,. if u have to come on here on behalf of the shop then u should take it else where or jus do it urself lol. anyway its not hard jus attach it to the car and use the stock screws on each end. i dont think people go as far as trying to bolt the middle area to the inside of the car

Its not really on behalf of the shop per say. More so my own curiosity and trying to supply them with the best info I can. I contacted every body shop in Oklahoma City in regards to installing the lip and sides and I was auctually refered to this place via a reputable high end euro tuning shop. Also, they where the ONLY ones that agreed to do it.

Every other body shop around here just mainly deals with insurance claims and shot me down... The shop I am going to has great reviews and I believe they can handle the job just fine.

From what I gather they will have to determine where to drill holes in the bottom where the indentions are to mount to the OEM underside mounting points along with the front and rear wheel well mounts. Not too sure about the upper door sill mounting options as there is no 3M tape nor mounting holes/clips like the OEM sides...

Apparently all aftermarket skirts need screws in the sides to hold em up. Especially the poly ones since they tend to droop a little more. Those are actually my skirts. They redid it with color matched rivets and they look a lot better and are not nearly as noticible.

if the impuls need those screws there. I won't be getting impul skirts. It just looks disgusting.

And yeah, your skirts are now the go-to picture when somebody wants to show effed up install.

This is what I thought. If anything, I would just use some double sided tape. Way better than screws.

If that's the case, then i'll go with the impul skirts. But if its screws. No thanks.

ME GUSTA, that is EXACTLY what I do not want and what I am trying to avoid. I like the double sided 3M tape idea. I pulled the door sill off this morning and saw the OEM skirt incorporates clips where they gunned those screws in your door jam.

Seeing how 99.9% of aftermarket skirts I come across do not have build in tabs for the clips and are smooth, either screws or tape seems to be our only option.

I will contact some people and let you know what I come up with.
