Uhh, to get from point a to point b? Face it, we're all already lemmings. You think modding your car makes you different? You're just following everyone else that mods their cars
I really have nothing against modding cars, especially if they're done right. I changed everything out of my previous car, but I'm over it. If you think the hassle of getting pulled over all the time is worth it, then more power to ya

Not the first person to mod my car but, when some one see the time and effort that you have taken to mod your car...

Yeah it really lights up the entire lens not just a spot like most LED lights..

If you put something illegal on your car why are you so apalled and angry you got a ticket for it? I have clear corners (which are illegal in CA) and if I get ticket for them I deserve it.

If you don't want to get pulled over, do the mods that will not catch the cop's attention. You say the led is so bright it lights up the entire sidemarker? You don't think that's reason enough for them to pull you over? Forget about the cop not pulling over the other people. He decided to pull YOU over. Why? Probably because your car caught more attention than somebody else's. Maybe the cop felt like being an ***. Whatever the reason, you got the ticket. Don't be pissed off bc you did, bc you're the one who did something illegal.

I'm sorry you had to pay $225 though.. last time I went to court they charged me a $75 court fee..

OK, I'll try. The cop saw 11 cars (including yours) which all had illegal mods. He said to himself "Hmmmmm, I can't pull them ALL over so I'll just pick one and pull it over. Hey, check out that car with those super bright white sidemarkers. That's as good as any." Or maybe he said "Eeny, meeny, miney, moe..." Who cares why he picked you, but he did. Sack up and take your lumps.

you got own3d by the cop. They usually do that to cars that get people's attention. I mean, if I were a cop... I would not stop a riced up civic cuz I wouldnt even want to get close to it.

These guys are right - you deliberately and knowingly broke the law becasue you wanted to stand out... and you got caught. Simple as that.

I will probably not have a front plate when I get my G, and, yup, I'm probably going to get hit for $70 tickets for it. I know it, it is what it is, it's a fact of life. Accept it and move on...

I think we can all hear this kind of story and make our own choice about our mods!

I'm just thinking that the "twice as old" cop probaly hasn't given this incident a second thought. Age has his advantages!

I wish it was a fix ticket but this guy was a complete dick... Oh well Guess he was just made b/c he's rolling in the KIA on the weekends and someone half is age is driving a car thats 3 yrs of his salary!!!!
Grow up .... he was doing his Job! & if you have all this money then just pay the fine and hush. The car is a 35,000 car ... not 150,000 .... 75% of you fools think your the shizt cause we drive a middle of the road luxury/sporty car .. Yes the car is nice .... but a far cry from what else is to be had out there. I'm sure 80% of the US could buy it if they wanted. The cops in my area could buy and sell you all day long JR .... They make about 150,000 a year with OT ... 85,000 to 90,000 without after only 5 years .... that's the same old PO that just cost you enough money to **** you off!
