Problems here and there I'm having

Hey guys, new to this forum. Actually new to the car as well. So yeah, we gottanother newbie running around here. I purchased an 04 G35 coupe 6MT and has some cosmetic problems here and there and was wondering if there was an easy fix for most of them. The previous owner didn't take care of it too well it seems.

I'll understand if the only solution is to repaint it, I would just rather that be the last solution. Once again, I'm not familiar with cars at all, so please excuse my ignorance when it comes to these things.

If this was posted in the wrong section, I do apologize, if you could be so kind and point me in the right subforum, I'll ask to have it moved there.

First I'll start off with the lining around the sunroof and above the door.

Best/easiest way to make that black? or as close as possible?

Now on my front bumper and around the grill, there's spots where the paint is coming off. Like rocks have hit it. I also have this unlimited car wash thing where I can drive through it as many times as I want (which obviously I don't abuse), so that could cause some of the damage? Btw, I used a towel to wipe off the dirt just to make sure that wasn't what was showing in the picture.

While we're on this topic, my front bumper has that square hole which I'm sure is for the license plate. What/where can I get something to fill it up/plug into it?

Exhaust tips, not sure if these are universal, but can I just buy any of them and throw them on? How does that work?

Now my spoiler, I took a couple of pictures so you could see it a bit better. Basically it looks as if the sun hit it for too long and the black paint is just fading away. The further out the spoiler goes, the more faded the paint is. Besides repainting it, is there any touch ups to make it better? I've already waxed it multiple times, little to no affect.

Next to my side mirrors is this gray plastic that connects it to the car. Not sure why it would be that color or if it's just faded, any recommendations without repainting it?

2004 is pretty old (Don't make fun of my justification), so yeah it has a little tear in the seat next to where the lever is to lay your chair back. Any quick fix? On both seats, unfortunately.

The armrest is in pretty bad shape, it doesn't close all the way. It seems like it was pushed too far back and bent the metal. I tried to reshape it back into place, didn't work very well. So just wondering at this point where the best place would be to buy another one.

Thanks guys! Once again, show me a little slack since I am new to the scene. Just came for some friendly help.

1) Mother's Back to Black is a temporary fix.

2) Nissan uses relatively soft paint. There isn't much you can do about your front bumper outside of painting it.

3) Yes...there's a tow hitch cover that's supposed to go there. Looks like you have a case of "car got towed and idiot tow truck driver lost the cap." It happens...check in the car and see if it's there. If not, you'll need to buy another one.

4) That exhaust looks like an HKS replica eBay exhaust. Definitely not stock. You can order some tips to replace those. But they should just come off with a screw. I'd polish those ones.

5) You might be able to buff your spoiler by hand with some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to bring some of the shine back, but that paint looks pretty far gone. A good machine polish might fix it, but it looks like it's going to need paint.

6) Faded and old is the only reason they're gray. You could attempt to Plasti dip them, or just paint them satin black like I did.

7) This is ridiculously common on the coupe seats. Not really any way to fix it outside of re-upholstering the seats, which is expensive. You might buy some leather repair glue from Wal Mart and fill in the cracks to keep them from worsening. Unsightly, but it'll stop the damage.

8) Try some of our forum vendors. A few dealers offer discounts here on the forum, and should be able to get you a new one. You'll have to buy the whole center console, though, as far as I'm aware.

Haha I have an 04 and most of the same problems. Seat is the most annoying. I used a trim restorer from advanced auto, ill post the name when I get home but it brought them back to a nice black tone.

You can get the seats redone for like $150 a seat. 9/10 cars are ripped even the sedans.

Everything body wise is time and wear, hence the car is almost 10 years old.

Get new seals and a paint job if you really want a fresh look.
