to each their own right? I considered painting the front but I wanted it to stand out a bit. I plan on replacing the grille with the Gialla, I'm hoping it'll all work together with the front not painted

Wow, looks interesting. Like how you left the vents unpainted, and still shows carbon fiber. Its different, but I think it looks good. You need a new grill to match.

Looks good. I agree that I probably would have painted the front, and probably the whole thing, but definitely the front. That color looks great.

I love my black coupe, but I imagine this hood would look great with any coupe color. More people should get them and paint it. This hood would be great for any FI application with all that ventilation.

Will you post pics once you have the water shield removed?

of course csukoh. Forced Induction is what I intend the hood to work for. expelling additional heat from SSR twin turbos to be exact. that's what I'm building the whole car for

I think a Gialla grill with that would look amazing. You might want to also consider a mesh grill similar to the Stillen and then put Mt Fuji on that...I think that also would look great.

took off the water cover and took a few pictures without it. the second one looks like an advertisement for Injen's CAI, notice the silicone band that says Injen...

I'm considering having the body shop fabricate a mesh cover that would attach in place of the water cover when I have it removed. it's just a thought right now.

Looks good. We have the same hood and air intake. Im going to supercharge though. I am looking for more low to middle end power.

I'd like to see some pics of the whole car when you get them, gotta get that whole "big picture..."

I was wondering if it would be possible to design a mesh that let the airflow do its thing but still prevent water from entering if sitting still.

I can take care of those pictures csukoh. I'm keeping the hood and installing SSR twins in the future.

A lot of people do before and after on mods with pictures, or as it is happening. What you noticed, what they noticed, any problems, etcetc

oh yea that. sure I'll be doing that. along with some insane gleeful babble about the adrenaline rush after the turbos are installed. agree that the hood does seem to be designed for a twin turbo application. it'd be a shame to have the hood and no compressors sleeping under it.

Livyathan.....I reposted your pics to another thread with a guy with a red car but with a hood like ours, telling him to repaint to look like yours. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...539#post463539 if you are interested.

BTW when are we going to get full car shots?
