Lately when we start the car in the garage and the highlight switch is on auto, the lights, as they should, come on. When we pull the car out into the sunlight, the lights stay on. they should be turning off. So I am thinking that it has to do with the light sensor. Where is it located, or should I be looking elsewhere for the problem?

 

How long are you waiting? There is a delay so the lights don't turn on and off when you go under street lights and such.

 

This is a recent occurrence. When we start the car in the garage, it is dark enough that the lights come on. When we pull out into the daylight, the lights stay on and the sun is out so the lights should go off, but they don't.
