Hey guys so the other night my sister asked to borrow my car to go to the casino...... and that could be the whole story right there, but anyways, she took the car to the casino cause her cars headlights went out and it was a far drive and she didn't want the other to go out. Plus her car is a piece of ****. So on her way back home she smacked the guard rail on the passenger side of the car and did some damage. Insurance was a must and I got around 2300 after deductible. I got a couple questions.

Is this an oem unpainted fender? If so I am most likely buying that one.

I found this gem on ebay and its urethane. Think I should go for it?
Lastly, I know in my area it will be different but what is about the average price to paint (kh3) and blend these 2?

And yes I have spent 900 out of that 2300 on the 2006 headlights brand new from oc infiniti. "So please dont say u have all the money in the world to do that man" cause in reality I dont. Labor and installation will be done myself. I just need the paint done on it.

U aware dat fitment for an aftermarket bumper? Maaco can paint the bumper for 150 but its luck of the draw getting one that fits well and doesn't need modification. In which that 300 $ bumper goes up and up...

 

the bumper is 400... look at shipping. Also I emailed seller. He said it is guaranteed to fit (no I am not that gullible) but it is also urethane and I heard that the fiberglass ones are even worse with fitment. I am pretty sure it will fit. But anyways. Any other advice?

 

Buy the part from a salvage company? Or if you get lucky you might find something in the marketplace. Check craigslist as well. As far as the ebay bumper, realize that you get what you pay for.

 

I'd also suggest trying to find an oem bumper from a salvage yard or a bumper in the marketplace

Which ever bumper you buy having Maaco paint it is a major mistake, a monkey with rattle cans would get better results! Find the parts you need, shop around to different body shops and get the job done right! Don't let family members drive your G, it would have been cheaper to buy your sister new headlights.

I got a couple quotes on paint ranging from 300 (MAACO) to 600. I most likely will do this place thats gonna charge 450. They have great reviews on their paintjobs. Ik i shouldnt have let my sister use it but im a nice person u know? The bumper I bought is made by arch industries that use to be a vendor on here I think. So ik thats all good. I am also buying a new oem fender from discountinfiniti. So there is that lol. I guess nows a good time to make this thing look pretty sick!
