I've compared interior LED bulbs with normal filament bulbs on my Maxima, and the LEDs are always disappointing. Something like a PIAA or Polarg super white bulb will be much brighter and omnidirectional than a 4 LED bulb. I bought from the same place as FLFire, and was surprised at how dim the LEDs were. Just my personal opinion, but I'd go with normal bulbs for this use, and I'm normally pro-LED!

Here are the PIAA Xtreme Whites compared with the stock bulbs. They are the front domes, rear domes and the trunk. I got them at www.optauto.com

Alright, I'm confused....

The map & dome lights use a DE3175 and the step light is a DE3022, right?

So what size of festoon bulb do I need for each? I think I read te DE3022 uses the 30mmxwhatever, but what about the dome/map lights?

Also, FLFIRE, are you happy with your bulbs from Superbirhgt LEDS? Any pics to share?

Thanks!

You can use a 168 wedge type bulb.

Yes. They are a little bigger but they work fine.

How do you install these? Just pop off the lids and take out-put in type of thing?
