Lightbulb Headlight is out

Hi,

I just noticed that my headlight is out. manual says you have to take it to dealer. Even so I am an IT guy, i pull my motorcycle apart just to show my bodies the inside of the carbs just for fun. So, the question is. Does it need a special tools or anything out of ordinary to replace the bulb? I hate paying for what I can do myself.

Thanks.

If you got HIDs, i'd take it to the dealer and complain, they r suppose to last a lot longer than that. But HID or not, yes its simple to replace.

Thumbs up All honky dorky.

Thank you for your reply. I might have had a bit more to drink last night then I should have. Here is what happend.

I got home last night, turn the car off lights went off. Then I had to start a car for some reason just for a sec. I was on the right side and instead of walking around I used remote start to start it. Then shut it off. I tought the lights would turn off in a few. few hours later my neighbor knoks on my door to tell me my lights are still on. I jump started and went a little drive. came back turned it off. Standing on front of the car waiting for the lights to shut off. And I notice right headlight is out low beam is on. This morning everything is functioning. Try explaining this to the service technician
