Fixing Bumper Brackets

One of the first things I wanted to do after buying my used G35 was to tighten up the bumper. The previous owner had an aftermarket on it before, and haphazardly reinstalled the OEM bumper. It was missing some clips, bolts, and the rivets between the bumper and L brackets were loose or missing.

Here's a fix I did to one of the L Brackets that was had a broken bolt in the weld nut.

Trimmed T nut from the Hardware store.

Some JB weld.

Painted.

After replacing the rivets and installing the missing fasteners, it's SUPER tight.
