2005 G35 Ext Driver Door Lock Button Not Working

Here is the scenario, cause I am finding a lot about when the door actually won't unlock at all. My locks work, the buttons inside the car work the locks, the button on my key fob work my locks fine. I am talking about the button incorporated into the door handle on the outside of the car on the drivers side. Mine does not do anything, now here is the weird part, the passenger side button works fine. One press for that door, two presses for all doors, press again to lock. Is this something anyone else has run into, A visual inspection of it, seems to be fine, the weather proofing is intact. Just wondering if this is something anyone else may have run into before I start ripping the door apart. Thanks

Adam

I have the same problem! Have you had any luck on how to fix this problem?

No I have a clue, but just haven't had a chance to tear the door apart to isolate what needs to be replaced. Hopefully in the next couple weekends. I'll keep you posted.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem. Only the driver's side, but the button doesn't work anymore.
