Hi.

I'm new to the forum, my name is Nick and i'm from denmark.

I've set my mind at buying a G35 Coupe 2003 model as my next car (Properly gonna be the only one in denmark), after my 240SX Vert.

But i'm not loving the dash, so the question is.
Does anybody know if the G35 V36 2007 dash would fit in the older G35 V35 model? as i really like those, but i don't like the exterior of the newer model.
I know everything can be done with the right amount of money, but im more of a do it yourself guy.
Please do correct me if im wrong in my models or anything.

Well if you have the money to do that, why not get the newer G that had that

Yes. Swapping dashes can be done between g35. Not a g37 and a g35. Make sense?

 

One guy here if i recall correctly has tried it and he took over 4 months to accomplish the swap.

Time required isnt important, i got all the time it needs, i'd rather do it right the first time, instead of settling with something i dont like.
Does he have a build thread or something, or do you know who it is so i can contact him?

A lot more money than it's worth and not to name the adjustments needed to make sure your gauges read out accurately , this also requires a very high skill of mechanical and electrical knowledge.

 

When building a car to sell etc, money is the thing to go by, but when building a car to keep, i dont think it should be a question of if its worth it money wise.
Honestly, i dont care as long as im happy with the result.

I got alotta mechanics, electricians and such that can help me if needed, else i can just custom fit the gauges from the old to the new so no wiring needs to be done.
its the dash i dont like, so gauges can come from whichever.
but i see your point with it, but i usually split the cars and build them my way, so i get what i want out of it from the beginning.
Not that im or anything rich, i just take my time.
