So i have searched all over here and google and I never got a straight forward answer. It was hit and miss. Maybe the earlier knock off trunk lips fit bad from like years ago. Has anyone on here installed this trunk lip? looks like it fits good ( good enough for the price)

Thank you, just know ANYTHING AFTERMARKET requires a little modification to fit well.

You best order some high quality 3M spoiler tape.

 

It comes with 3M Double sided tape. I am going to install it with that and then give it a tug test. I will make sure to prep the surface well.

I plan to thoroughly clean the surface of the trunk and then clay bar it to really remove any waxes/grim to get down to the clear. If you have never clayed a car youll be surprised. You may think your car is clean but once you clay it and see all the crap on the clay bar you will think holy crap. So yeh i will just clay the area then install the lip.

I ordered it a couple hours ago. Should be here in January :/

they will have 2 strips preinstalled on the thing. but it doesn't fill up the entire surface so u should add more tape.
