the stock badges are held on by adhesive. heat them with a hairdryer and they'll come off more easily. use floss and saw them off one at a time. the infiniti emblem is much harder to take off, you might have to double up on the floss but it'll come off eventually. line up the new skyline badge where you want it (some people put it where the original lettering was. in this case, use masking tape to mark where the original badge was. the dimensions are exactly the same.). most people who debadge the mt. fuji logo move the badge up so theres less empty space. either way, use masking tape to mark the sides of the original emblem and then use a ruler to make sure its perfectly horizontal at the level you want it.

forgot to mention: if you use floss you shouldn't have any scratches. if by any chance you use your nails or something and there are microscratches, you can usually wax and buff it out or use a scratch remover (scratch-x, gs-27)
