The stock lip is said to not be any lower up front....

Looks OK, but I want the open front bumper for use with an APS FMIC.
Need both form AND function.

^ how come your grill conforms to the top of the hood, but on other peoples cars it doesn't?

Its all the same grill but one should adjust it to make the fitment tight. Check out the Black Coupe, he installed properly and the fitment was perfect.
