So I got my ait cf trunk today after it being back ordered for days . So I go install it get the fabric pins out of the stock trunk, unhook the wiring and slide it through the cutout, and get both shocks off. So now I need to remove the trunk from the bracket but its held on with star bolts. And im not 100% but I think there's nuts behind each bolt. So im stuck here cuz there no where u can put a wrench to hold the nut. So what should I do? Tap the star ? But what about the nut. Should I drill and snap the head off the star and just get new hardware for my new one? I need some advice please

 

From all the threads I read people ended up drilling the star bolt out because it strips real easily. Post up pics when installed.
