climate control diagnostic mode? how to get to it.

My climate control has stopped working, I've got an aftermarket Metra dash kit installed and it worked fine when i first installed the aftermarket stereo, and this summer it stopped working, i put the stock stereo back in and it still doesnt work..... my a/c works when its on 60* setting, but anything above 60* and its heat.

im sure its an intake temp sensor, or cabin temp sensor issue, but i dont want to buy both sensors without figuring out which one is bad.

im told there is a climate control diagnostic mode that should give me a sensor readout.

anyone have a clue how to access the climate control diagnostics?

matthew

If I remember correctly, make sure all wires are plugged in after putting the cover under the steering wheel back on. Sometimes when people take it off it falls a little too much and it gets unplugged or loose.
