Just got me a seibon carbon fiber hood and a ait racing carbon fiber trunk...my question is should I use the oem trunk dampers?...feel like I'm gonna brake my trunk when I close it, also do you guys recommend to use a hood dampening kit for a carbon fiber hood?...any feedback will be appreciated thanks in advance

 

What you need for the C/F hood is lighter pressure hood dampers, check our Marketplace they have em! For the trunk lid just use one damper not both, doesn't matter which side...your choice!

for your hood you will need the lighter pressure dampers, but a lot of guys dont run them with a cf hood because they still want to push up too much. For your trunk just use one oem damper. It will prevent the truck from flying open when the latch is released and doesnt take much effort at all to close.
