OEM front lip question

OEM front lip question

Im thinkin bout getting the OEM front lip for my 03 coupe, but i had one question from anyone who had one, does it hang that much lower than the stock front? Im just a lil worried bout scraping it and scratchin it up...any help is appreciated!

Well I don't have one, yet. I just ordered one from the recent group buy however, and I know what it looks like in person. It actually doenn't hang lower, what it actally does it extend the front bumper outward. Your clearance won't change.

thats what i thought, im prob puttin the front lip on and the back splash guards...not doin the one behind the front wheel..looks funny i think. anyone know how hard they are to install?

I just did the splash guard install myself a couple weeks ago. It took me less than an hour for all four. Its really easy to do.

Make sure you ask for detailed install instructions when ordering your front lip. I know that some places will not ship the instructions out with the part unless specifically asked. It took me a couple of hours, but that's because I didn't have instructions. It took me about 20 minutes just to figure out the template. Now that I know what to do, it wouldn't take me longer than an hour. Make sure to make your drill holes 3/4" to 1" eliptically, left to right. It will make your install SOOO much easier. ANY GOOD SITES FOR ORDERING FRONT LIP AND CLEAR CORNERS?

i just got the lip a couple hours ago, came with a ridiculous amount of instructions, i think i might just drop it off at my buddies bodyshop and have him put it on, i dont want to be bothered by it.lol.

i guess the splash guards and lips come from 2 diff places, b.c i ordered them together and just got my lip minus the splash guards...i only got back ones though, i really dont like the front guards.
