Sun shade for windshield

Hey everybody. Just got my car last week and love it.

Anyways...I am looking into buying one of those sun shade things for the windshield to block the sun out and keep the interior cool when parked at work.

Does anyone here have any reccomendations on a good one that fits our windshield well?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want something that fits good, works well, and isnt a pain to store in the car.

Thanks

measure your windshiels & head out to any auto parts store looking for a reflective sun shade.

You want the HeatShield by Canvas Works. I've been using them for years. They are custom fit to each model car. They roll up for storage.

Here's the link:

BTW, they are in Sunnyvale.

I second the HeatShield, we use them in all our cars and they make a difference. You should be able to pick one up from the dealer for about $25.

IMHO, the Heatshield product is a little cheap, and I don't like the roll up design.

If you might prefer an accordion fold-up design that's a little more durable and better looking, consider the Covercraft model, which are also custom fitted. Here is one online source. Price: about $50.

The HeatShield is NOT cheap at all. Maybe you ran into one of the many knock-offs that are out there, but the HeatShield is made from very good materials. Now roll-up Vs. fold-up is definitely a preference choice.
