So for about 8 months I couldn't open my hood. The passanger side wasn't releasing. After some help I managed to get it open, but unfortunatelly it was found out the actual latch assembly itself is broken. I need to replace it. Does anyone have any experience with this? I believe I found the part listed in the link below. The other problem which I may run into is I cut the cable that's attached to the latch so I'll need to replace that as well.
