clokwork,
the place i went to wanted to so called 'paint' the dot matrix which i said 'hell no' to. they also have an adhesive film method but apparently i have to wait for warmer weather to get it to adhere correctly. i went to calif. tint in great falls off of rte 7. will wait a couple weeks for mid 40s-50s and return for the upper portion (if thats what your referring to)

Painting of the dot matrix is not an ideal way of handling this area. First of all, paint overspray can get onto the panels and seats. 2nd, it is not removable.........unless you use paint thinner on the glass, which can easily stain the interior panels if it gets on there.
You could either go w/ a vinyl strip or some companies know how to install the tint and make it adhere to the dots.
