Anyone had luck polishing scratches out of a clear bra?

Just like the title says. I'd rather see what has worked for other folks in the past before I go experimenting around, bra is 13 years old just like the car. Significant dings/scuffs/etc but nothing penetrating through the entire depth, however when I clean the car it becomes very noticeable to me that the bra has gotten pretty thrashed.

I really don't want to remove/replace it with another one, in another 3-5 years I'm repainting the entire car anyways, has anyone had luck sanding/polishing them?

Looking for anything that has worked for anyone.

I have a feeling over the term of many years they all become embedded in the bra sadly. I've tried just about everything to clear up the rear clear bra portion by the back wheels. No dice .
