v35/v36 seat cushion compatibility

I have a 2004 sedan and the lower cushion on my driver's seat is torn.

I found a replacement from a 2008 online and it looks the same but i'm not 100% sure the attachment clips will line up correctly.

Does anyone know? I'm still very new to the g35 world so I figured I should ask here. Thanks for reading.

Call around and find out who does local auto upholstery work. Call a few body shops and anyone who builds hot rods or does classic restorations. If it's just 1 panel it will probably be cheaper to have it fixed locally than to source a replacement+shipping on the internet.

Thanks for your input.

I haven't checked with all of the local upholstery shops but the first one wanted $230 and wasn't sure they could source the same perforated leather. The second shop I visited said they could do it but because so much material was missing from the driver's seat they would have to take the passenger lower seat apart to pull the pattern template and this would make the cost in the low to mid $300 range to do both. The seat base on ebay is about $130 but if it doesn't fit that's a complete waste of cash.

I hadn't considered a hot rod shop, they may know other upholstery shops that I have not yet found. Definitely will check the shop up the road next week on that.

There's also a bunch of black leather g37 seats and g35 coupe black leather seats on facebook/craigslist in my area but i'm not sure if any of that is a direct replacement either. I wouldn't mind the g37 seats as I imagine they are a bit more comfortable.
