I tried using the search function but couldn't find this exact question.

I've got the 2003 G35 6MT Sedan Sport. I recently had the front bumper torn off. This gives me the opportunity to get a new bumper/grill.

I ordered one but it's not got a decent fit. It's off of amazon: the bodyshop is complaining about the fitment and I looked in person and yeah it kinda looks a little janky.

Which leads to my question. I'm shopping for replacement grilles, something of a decent quality. I stumbled across a nismo mesh grille in my neighborhood.

The guy says it was on his 2006 G35 sedan. Mine's an 03. I know the part numbers for 03 say 03-04 base and G35X model grilles are all the same/compatible.

Is his 2006 sedan aftermarket grille going to work for my 2003 sedan?

What do you think? Will it work? Also, he's asking $75 but I thought I would try and talk him down to 60. Any input is appreciated!!
