Post Sail Panel Rubber Moulding Orders

I created this thread to gauge a response on making a bulk order for those who need the (A) rubber moulding part that goes between the Mirrour Mount and Tweeter Speakers also known as the Sail Panel. This part is no longer Made, Sold or in Inventory with INFINITI Dealers North America. Only issue is that this part is not sold by itself and comes in a kit with other parts (B - Outlined in Blue) which raises the cost. The original part numbers of just the rubber moulding is (A) 80833-AM800 /80832-AM800.

The parts supplier will be going through MasterMind North America, California. They have already contacted Nissan parts dealers in Japan and prices are below.
Their business is sourcing and importing JDM car parts to the United States. For more information check out their websites. I have done business with them before in getting my JDM Nissan Engine Cover.

To start in creating this list, DM me in the forum with your email. I will keep this open for 2 weeks.

(A)

Priced quoted for this is - LEFT SIDE ASSEMBLY - $140 and RIGHT SIDE ASSEMBLY - $140

(B)

Example of what is highlighted in blue.

Original post on finding this part number is here -

Cool beans. Nice to see this effort toward sourcing something.

It's not clear to me exactly what the plan is, though. Is the $140 for just the seal, or for the whole assembly? And/or are you trying to put together a group buy so the parts folks can do a deal for less $$ to get just the seal alone, assuming enough folks sign on to make it worth their while?

Now I need to go look at mine to see what shape they are in....

Its been a long time coming trying to find out what this part is. Ive called multiple dealerships and googled for hours. But to answer your question, its $140 per side for the whole assembly kit.
I do not think buying in bulk will garner us a discount, maybe, Ill have to ask Mastermind if their parts dealer in Japan can help out if we get enough people to buy this. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Correct, I did see that too but that is limited in quantity. Be my guest if you want to grab just the right side. Not sure if i saw left side NEW. The right side looked new.

Sorry to chime in late but I really need these badly for my driver's side window. Wind shut the door one cold morning when my car was a block of ice and the battery was dead. Needless to say I think that was the culprit. It's cracked now and from the outside doesn't make a complete seal because the seal was pushed inward then upward somehow. If anybody has one or a link would be much appreciated

Any luck with this? I talked to my local dealer and they said the same thing; the part is no longer in production. They did however, offer to try and locate used ones. Waiting back to hear from them but in the mean time I am curious to hear if this went anywhere?

Your best off contacting Mastmindna , link above in my first post. They can source it in japan.

I know this is quite the old post but posting this to help others that may be in same predicament. I too for years have had one of the seals around the mirrors on my coupe slowly disintegrate. I remember being in the same spot of the OP of this thread. Digging for the part and finding it is no longer available through Infiniti. I also got the bright idea of looking at the 350 part but just looking at them could tell they weren't the same and getting confirmation from z1 as to the same. I tried again today to fish around for the part because I'm refreshing my car and got the idea to search for nissan skyline parts which brought me to a website called Yoshiparts. After digging through their parts diagram of skyline coupe parts I found it and they indeed have them in stock out of Japan. The seals are about 50 bucks a piece and shipping is reasonable I have 2 on the way now. I'm confident they are the correct part and will confirm once they arrive. They can be found searching for japanese skylines parts or just using Infiniti coupe designations. They will both result in the same part numbers coming out of Japan. 80832-am800 and 80833-am800. Hope this helps someone.
