05 headlight adjustment

Has anyone adjusted their 05 headlights? The descriptions for adjusting the lights on the older models don't seem to fit what I am looking at on my 05.

Thanks.

The adjustments on my '05 (Jan. '05 build) are identical to my previous 2003. I swapped out my Silverstars from the '03 and adjusted the lights slightly as I did to my '03. Exact same. I use a large tip philips screwdriver to make my adjustments.

I'm not sure you can get to the side-to-side? Not sure how to help? I'm going to go take a look!

I just checked the 05 service manual. There is only up/down adjustment, no side to side.

No side to side? Wow, that draws a vacuum! I've got my low beams where I think they should be but my high's seem to be aiming for Mars. They illuminate tree tops. And I am sure my lows are not aimed too high, I never get flashed. Maybe something for the dealer to look at and then say they are good

adjustment

there's a hole where the headlights are, and you use the cross screwdriver, cw will put them up i think. But when you look in the whole it looks like a plastic wheel with hinges. fit the screwdriver in, and make sure it doesn't strip the plastic, and when you turn it, the wheel should turn the same time. You could just level the driver light with the passenger, since it's standard the driver side is always lower than the passenger side.
