Yea thats right it is an overlay piece that adheres to the batt door. According to UT since the Batt Doors aren't completely flat (latches, etching, etc) making a solid CF replacement would be about 3x the price of the overlay.

G352NV how do you think it would cost to make an overlay?

Buy two of these and cut em out, wow big deal eh. Cost ya about 25.00. Ive been watching this thread because I thought it was going to be the full part and not just a overlay. Or if anyone doesnt think they can cut theirs out Ill sell you a pair cut for 75.00 shipped.
