New SilviaParts Carbon Fiber Grill

For those of you who saw my name under the Gialla Group Buy I've got too apologize for bailing out on you all, I saw the promo running on the new SilviaParts Grill and couldn't pass it up. I've got to say I'm incredibly pleased with grill. At first I was a little nervous about how the carbon fiber would match up with my car and of course the previous fitment and gap issues associated with past models of Silvia's grill, but I decided to go ahead and give it a try and I'm loving it. The carbon fiber looks amazing and gap as well as fitment issues seem to have been corrected. Also this particular grill doesn't have the black bar eye sore behind the mesh like some of the other brands do. I'm probably going to add an emblem to it here soon. Eithier an Mt. Fuji, Nissan (to go witht the Skyline and 350GT emblems on the rear), or a NISMO badge in the corner. What do you think?

Looking good. It appears that you might have a slight gap as it appears on the first pic.. i thought this grill was pretty recent? W/ the other gialla replica they have, they had a support beam to fix the issue w/ the grill sloping inwards.. it appears they took it back out?

Yea there might be a slight gap in the middle but its not to pronounced in person. This grill is actually a brand new design as far as I know so that could be explain the result. As long as the gap isn't to bad, could this possibly get more better flow to the air dam? Hmmmm, just a thought .

I ordered one of the last painted gialla replicas from silvia parts AFTER the gap issue was fixed but I have the support bar behind the grille. The gap issue IS gone, however the support bar is annoying...i have been pondering whether to cut it off but am worried I might get some sort of gap . As far as the fix goes, I believe one person attached some rubber pieces below the grille in the center (where the grille touches front bumper) to raise the center portion up. I believe he still had a small gap, but your gap is much smaller than the gap the original silvia parts grille had...

Yea that sounds like a good idea, maybe just some weather stripping or rubber tubing back there might push it up a bit. As I was saying though, from the angle I took the picture it looks a lot worse then it actually does in person but I'll give it a try.
