Installed Bats vinyl lower valence... but contemplating taking it off... *pics*

I decided that I wasnt going to have another shop ruin the overlays so I decided to do it myself. Right above the exhaust pipes the plactic curves so many different ways, and it was quite impossible to keep it perfect in these areas. My only fuc* ups are directly over the exhaust pipes (yea the most visible part). I played with each side for over an hour trying to get it perfect but it just wouldnt sit flush in that area. It looks good when you are further than 5 feet away.. but up close you can see the blemishes... Here are some pics, let me know what you think...
1. take it off (and leave it off, im done with overlays)
2. Keep it and live with the small blemishes

By those pics, the worse looks like its on the left side, but if you look on the right side right above the tip of the exhaust you will see a crease, and this is the most visible and most annoying one. Well guys let me know what you think I should do. Thanks

Take it off and get a shop to paint that piece black. I think it looks good in the first picture but I just can't stand it if it isn't perfect. Even if others don't know... you know.

I would've just masked the bumper and painted it a graphite metallic if I was
going for that look.

From far away you can't tell the blemishes, but up close it's noticeable. If it was me I'd take it off.

I just ordered my valence overlay and should receive it this week...as the piece hangs over the exhaust its prone to alot of wear/tear. I'd just leave it on as it's not the most noticeable part of the car and it's not a piece most people look at up close.

hmmmmmm

I would keep it unless you have a way of getting another piece of vinyl.

So.....keep it on until you get a replacement.

Hot car!

?

IS300 or anyone (e.g., Bat),
You have the GTR overlays, right? Out of curiousity, those circular openings for the LED's and the turnsignals, do the overlays have cut outs or is the tinted material 'lighter' in that area? Just curious? Also, the areas not 'lighter' or that have the opening, does the tinted material block a lot of the light emitting from the LED brake lights or the reverse lamp?

Thanks!
Larry

The circular openings are cutouts.
