Discontinued Color

Discontinued Color
Today I looked at a used mid-year 2002 "2003" sedan that was a deep royal blue, not the current Carribean Blue. Anyone know the strory behind that color being dropped? Something inherently wrong with it, or just considered too close to the black?

The colour's name was Twilight Blue (code BW5), and it was gorgeous. Nissan stopped production of it last year which only hightened it's popularity. It's rumoured that it will return soon.

It's a little hard to see but this is 'Boomer's' Twilight Blue Sedan from the Rides Section.
You pretty well have to see in person to get the full effect.

That's good to hear it's coming on the Coupe too. It'll sell well on both cars. Shame about Emerald Green. Nice too.

I would say that DG on the sedan and TB on the coupe is still just a rumor.
However, if you go to Infiniti's website and do a Build and Locate on a sedan, you'll see that the color choices now include Twilight Blue, and Emerald Mist is gone.

Its suppost to come back again in 2004. My G35s is in Twilight Blue (code BW5) with beige interior and kick a$$.
I'm from Puerto Rico and there are just about 10 in that color, is a very hard to find. normal is gray, black and red.
But, the G35 looks good in any color, even in Pink (just kidding)

I just picked up a pre-owned Twilight Blue, w/ Willow interior...the color is beautiful!! I'll post pics soon, as you don't see many of them.
