Body side-moldings

Does anyone have pics of a "G" with the body side-moldings on? I suffered my first dent on my driver's side door. I had it professionally removed (Phew!). I was considering the moldings but the opinion seems 50/50. Thanks.

Some people say it depends on the color if it looks good or not..... but let me tell you it doesn't..... doesn't do jack for the car in appearance let alone protection.....

I don't have a pic, but I did have the dealer install the body moldings all around. My car is Desert Platinum and the first set of moldings did not match correctly (they were more gold than silver). But the dealer quickly had them redone and it looks perfect now!!! I would disagree that it does not offer any protect. I actually saw someone hit my car with their door and it hit directly on the molding. (If it was one of those large SUV, it probably would have cause a dent.) Anyway, for the $275 I paid - it was worth it!!!!
