OEM Front Lip Spoiler

Do you really need to remove the front bumper?? I just got quoted 3 hours of labor because they said they have to remove the bumper. I thought it should just be an hour and does not require the removal of the bumper.

NO you DO NOT have to remove the bumper. Just the front wheels.

i just did the install myself about a month ago. and you do NOT have to remove the bumper or front wheels. however, you do have to remove the underbody pieces to tighten the screws on the spoiler. i believe another member took apart the front grill to get to the screws and didn't have to go through the wheelwell.

Thanks, I was waiting for Ashton to jump out of the cubicle next to me. The body shop ordered the lip from the dealer ($350) and then he told me that it would be 3 hours because the dealer told him to remove the bumper.

I will tell him otherwise and that it should be 1 hour.

I took my grill out this last weekend to install some air horns (love it, loud!) it was so easy! Just pop the four plastic plugs up (pry the centers up with a knife or small screw driver) then reach inside and pinch the 6 push in clamps with your fingers to release the locking pins. It then pops right out.
