I was thinking of getting it tinted 20 or 25% all around on a black on black coupe. Do you think that's too dark?
The legal limit here in PA is 25-30% transmittance or greater. So, 20-25% is kinda on a grey area..... pending on the cop's mood when he pulls you over
Actually, the legal limit in PA for the front windows is 70% transmittance (where 30% of light is blocked)...basically the "factory" green tint. I was pulled over by a Uwchlan Twp cop the day after X-mas (I think he was looking to meet his pull over quota for the year/month) for tint being too dark when I had my Denali. It was 22% tint or something like that. He pulls out his little light measuring device and it read 3%. That's right, THREE. He didn't clean the window before using it, though. I heard they're supposed to do that. Anyway, that's the only time I have ever been pulled over for tint in Chester County.

As for price, check out Colbert's Car Care in Thorndale. They usually charge $150 for 7 windows (sedan). Whoops, just saw the date the of the thread. You probably have your tint by now.
