Yellow bulbs

What do you guys think of yellow bulbs where the fogs go? i think it would look good

do you still have your high beam? haha sorry sounds like a dumb question but really dont know

The highbeams/fog lights use an H4 bulb. Which is a dual filament bulb. If the color of the fog light is yellow, its because the glass is colored yellow. If thats the case, any light from that bulb would be yellow. So if his fogs are yellow, his high beams should be yellow too.

Is it really that there is a film over it or is it the Kelvin Temperture is lower?

I was wondering the same about the high beams. thought of gettin Mtech or PIaa ION Yellow bulbs

Film over what? The bulb's glass is most likely yellow, or "ion"... in which it would also produce a yellow light with out decreasing the light output as a yellow glass filter bulb would.

I used a yellow colored cap on top of the stock H4 bulb. I've had it on there for almost two years without a problem yet. Yes the high beams are yellow as well.

Here is a shot when I first put them on in June '03 with stock HID beams.

Just curious, where'd you get the yellow cap and how did you put it on the bulb?

eBay used to have a lot of those caps, don't really see much anymore.
