I just ordered one. Great pictures on the etrailer site. I want to pull a jet ski trailer OR mount an extra luggage rack ( no additional lights required) or pull a small trailer for tires to the track, race track car camping or whatever.
Think how easy it would be to get somebody with a big truck to launch your jet ski once you get to that slippery ramp....The U-Haul universal light kit sounds like the only way to go. Problem solved.....

I am looking to put a hitch on my G35 Coupe as well. If anyone has done this on the forum please post some pics. I would like to see how the fit and finish comes out.

This prototype from My350z.com http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...ighlight=hitch is pretty wicked, just wish the guy would deal one up for the G35. My goal is to simply attached a bike rack to the hitch.

Seen convrt corvette pullin double trailer seadoo's with no sag it was the hottest thing i ever seen besides the two girls in the passenger seat...but he had a long neck trailer and the wheels fowars so the weight of the jetskiis took the weight off the car....and with the longer trailer his wheels never hit the water. problem solved

What if you need to go on a rally race with the G.. now the trailer doesnt look SO ridiculous does it? or a set of slicks for the drag strip. hows that? I think its not for everyone, but it is pratical.

Has anybody attempted to install themselves ?

Just curious if anyone has installed this themselves......any pics?
Is the electrical simple or do you need a converter......does the power have to come off of the battery or can you jump off the tail lights?

Thanks in advance

Derek

I just ordered the hitch today, should be here in 3 days.. I should have it installed by Sept 15. It is a smaller 1 1/4 opening so I am not sure about towing anything with it. I think it is rated to 200 pounds. I am going to use it for my road bike carrier.
