AC Adapters in 05' Missing?

I noticed that in the 03-04 model that there are AC adapters under the dash on both the driver and passenger side. On my 05' model, they are gone. This is very convenient because i want to wire my Portable Nav system to the side so that it is a cleaner look. I currently have to go in front of the dash and open the ash tray just to get to the cigarette lighter. Any ideas why they chose to remove them?

Nissan decided to do some cost cutting on the 2005+ models to offset the new features they introduced, so that they could maintain the aggressive pricepoint of the G35 series.

Among the things gained in the 2005 models are interior metal trim, telescoping steering wheel, motorized NAV screen, new MP3 headunit, and metal throttle and brake pedals.

Among the things that were victim of cost cutting are loss of brembo brakes, loss of limited slip differential, loss of electrical outlets, and higher component internal design.

It does with the 6MT and 5AT equipped with Sports Supsension Package.

Infiniti basically made a huge blunder on the LSDs for 05.

Read here for details:

Now see, I thought that the confusion was over the 5AT part of that. Isn't it that, even with the sport-tuned suspension package, you still can't get the LSD on the 5AT? Seems like in the brochure it is under the Sport-Tuned Suspension option description where the LSD is covered by a piece of white tape... ...or is that under the Performance Tire/Wheel option description?

For the '05, I believe it's only the 6MT that comes with the LSD and that it is not an option on the other models.

This is a quote from the sticky about the VLSD issue:
"For those who have an '05 auto coupe on order with this package, you may want to consider changing your order to the Sport Tuned Suspension Package which does include the VLSD"

Basically the 05 AT will have VLSD if equipped with the Sport Package as listed above. The mistake dealt with the fact that the Premium Wheels Package owners thought it came with it but Infiniti mistakenly didn't include it in this pacage alone.

I guess it was under the Performance Tire/Wheel option description.
