Question Any easy way to remove the rear deck stop lamp?

I need space on the rear deck and have decided the stop lamp up there is not really necessary as my dealer installed a spoiler which also has a high mounted stop lamp on it.

Do I really have to take out the seats and both rear side panels, and rear parcel finisher just to get the dang stop lamp off?

Anyone done it in an easier way? (like maybe just unclip?)

Thanks for any suggestions...

if you are talking about the coupe it pops right out. I took mine out today before I had my rear window tinted. You don't have to remove anything. However you will have a few holes there where it was. You can replace the rear deck with one without the holes. When you do that I think you will have to remove all the stuff you mentioned.
