I just installed the SSE grills on my car yesterday. The lower valence grill inserts are a snap, literally. You just put them over the stock "grills" that come in the bumper and use the provided clips to snap them on. You have the jack up the front end of the car a bit in order to get your arm back there to snap it on.
The main grill on the other hand is a major pain in the a$$. You had better be really good with either a Dremel or a Rotodrill thingy (the tool that has a drill bit type thing that can also cut like a jig saw). You actually have to cut the stock grill out of the chrome ring that surrounds it. So if you were planning on keeping your stock grill forget it, you end updestroying it. After you get the horizontal bars out of the chrome ring, you have to use a Dremel to sand away all the extra plastic left from the cutting of the stock horizontal bars. This took me the better part of two hours, not to mention my eye still hurts from the plastic that was continually shot into my face. Once you have the chrome ring by itself, you place the new SSE grill inside that. Minor bending and shaping is necessary to get it to fit correctly. Once I got it clipped inside the chrome ring, I actually put it back on the car and started shutting the hood down on it to get it to shape correctly.
Overall it takes about three to four hours to do the install correctly and you have to be handy with a Dremel tool. I'll post some pics on here when I get a chance for you. I have a black/black so I got the new black chrome. I like it.
