Good Body Shop in North Hollywood or the Westside?
Hello,
I got into a car accident this morning on the 101 on my way to work. An Escalade hit a Tundra which hit me...luckily, it was stop-and-go traffic and it seemed like we were barely moving. I heard the collision, saw the Tundra heading towards me, and stepped on the gas but I still got hit! I have no idea how the Escalade was able to do so much damage since we were moving so slow (his front grill was smashed to pieces with fluids gushing all over the place, and the Tundra's bed buckled from the impact).
Anyways, I took the car in to have it looked at and the body shop took a cursory look and said they just had to repaint it...I told them I would have to think about it. I got home and looked at the bumper again and noticed it's cracked in a couple places (where the bumper folds in for the rear license plate). I don't know how I missed it before since I looked at it a few times....
So, has anyone had any experiences (good or bad) with a shop in North Hollywood called "Autobahn"? Conversely, does anyone know of any good body shops around North Hollywood or the Westside that works on Infinitis or Nissan? My car's black so I'm hoping it won't be too hard to match the paint.
Thanks!
Thomas

Glendale Infiniti takes its cars to Mcalisters Body Shop (North Hollywood 818-982-6050). I hear they work on tons of G35's and Z's and so I bet they do pretty good work. You can probably see some finished work if you go by their shop. The only downside is that they are probably a little pricier. I have not used them but I got an estimate from them to fix a crack in my rear bumper and then re-paint it. The estimate was for $680. Assuming they can repair your bumper, I would expect a similar price or slightly less.

BTW, Autobahn quoted me around $420 to fix my bumper with an estimated turn around time of 1.5 days....
