there were some kickplates that were luminated...but they cost i think about $400.00...

 

UT....does your cf kick plates sit higher?...they dont look flush...are they just overlays you put over the stock plates?

 

Yes these are covers, they go flush over your existing sill.

not to threadcrap...but i dont get whats so hot about CF. no one is doing enough on our rides with CF to save significant weight.

hey guys...reviving an old thread here...I've seen the CF kick plates people are talking about on some sites..even on e-bay. my passenger side kick plate has a big old dent on the "infinity" plate, and I've been wanting to change it for a while, but don't know how to go about it..

is it just held on there with double sided tape? do I just rip it off?

I've seem the replacement ones, and they come with the plastic molding around the aluminum as well.

any suggestions or inputs would be appreciated.

The OEM sill should be held on with a few clips underneath. You should be able to CAREFULLY pry/pop them up.
