help with grill

okay i have the sport tuned suspension with the aero kit. it has the two scoops on the bottom. i'm sure you all know what i have. i wanted to get the bottom two scoops to be mesh but my brother said to have the bottom two scoops exactly like the grill i have in the middle, where it has the infiniti symbol. if i want that, do i have to buy a whole new bumper with the grill or can i just buy the grill from somewhere? i tried doing a search but i didn't come up with anything on the same grill on the bottom two scoops. i would apprecaite any information given. pleaseEeEeEe!!!!

Hmmmm Ok I'm a little confused on what you're asking here but let me see if I can break it down. Basically you want the front two openings on the bumper to match with the upper gril correct? That may be a little hard to make an exact match, however several companies out there due offer inserts that simply snap into those openings of which require no modification to the bumper. The first pic is the Street Scene Speed Grill, the second is the TRex Billet grill. Ignore that lower portion on the first pic, its just an aftermarket lip and is not necessary for grill installation.

thanks for replying birdman. yes you understand what i want to do with the grill. as far as the grill, i want the same color also. where our logo is, its chrome on the outside half and black in the inside half if you look closely. i guess this makes it look like "black chrome" ?? i want the bottom to have the same color but i'm not sure how to do that. the grill i really like is the Street Scene Speed Grill but i dont know if it comes in any diff. colors. did i just make this more confusing lol

Haha no I get what you're saying. Actually the lower openings (reffered to as the lower valance) come in three colors: Silver, Chrome, and Black Chrome. I'd check out the following link if you'd like to see them and get a little more info. Unfortunately, the pics are pretty bad and its a little hard to tell the difference.

Oooo I'd hate to validate anything and then have you find out its not the case. I've never heard anyone refer to our grill's as black chrome, they do have the shiny silver in the front and then a little darker color on the top of each bar so I can see where you'd get that idea. Here's what I can tell you though:

A. I've never seen these in person.

B. Of the pictures I've seen of cars with these lower valance grills installed, they usually don't have the stock grill.

If thats any indicator you may want to play it safe and save your $$ until you do happen to see one in person, then determine by your opinion whether its a good match or not.

If you like the billet style, I can have them custom powder coated in black as a new option.
