JGTC Vented Carbon Fiber Hood by 350Zonline
Hey guys,
I'm posting this up because 350Zonline is trying to make a few things for the G35 and expanding our aftermarket parts, giving us more variety and quality products to choose from to set our cars apart from the rest of the pack.
A few weeks ago they made a JGTC Style hood for the 350Z in Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass and it was a big hit to those guys because of its quality in strength, weave, and style. 350Zonline would now like to offer up this product to us G35 Drivers.
10 people would need to order the hood at $300 + $160 for shipping [est. based on carbon fiber hood]. Fiberglass could be made also - we'll just have to take a vote and if 10 people want CF and 10 want fiberglass that could work out also - I think we just need to pick one or the other.
Heres a few pictures of the 350Z JGTC Hood by 350Zonline:
*The JGTC hood was developed to be simple in design and to have function.
*The hood has fuctionable reverse vented louvers to cool the 350z's engine bay.
*The weight is 21-24lbs depending on the hood (they are all hand laided and do vary on weight).
*The hood has oem fitment and is made with Grade A Carbon Fiber.
*The hood is also has marine grade UV resin so the hood finish will not fade from sun light.
Remember, this price of $300 is only good for the first 10 orders!
Thanks!

I can get pics of the hood up close on the Z if you want to see fitment, but I need atleast 10 people to order before the hood can be made. I'll try to get with someone anddo a chop of the hood on a G - since it is based off the OEM hood there should be no fitment issues other than it being great!

but im also agreeing with the person ^ that said they wouldnt buy anything till there is pics on a G.... if you are gauging interest, thats +1 for me, but if its buyers... consider me a maybe....
ive done several sketches for designs on hoods for the G, but its a really hard car to make stylishly-functional... if that term makes any sense...
also, is it like fully cf? like... the skeletal structure too? im not sure how it works, all i know is some companys use different materials for different parts of the hood and then put the cf for the surface of the hood....
and im assuming since you said fits like OEM, means the latch too? bolt on?

Godzilla35, I do agree with you - I normally need to see something on someone elses car before I buy it, but like many G/Z companies that are just small and work with one type of car don't have the money or the resources to just make a one off hood and then it not take off, they will lose too much money. I'm trying to get a photoshop done, but I don't know anyone personally who can do it so I have to wait for someone online who can help me! As for if the entire hood will be CF or if the skeleton structure underneath is something different is still up to you guys. That's the good thing about stuff like this - the owners of the cars can make a hood to their specs rather than just what one person or one company thinks or wants to do. Its all from scratch, so any ideas or criticism is welcome! There shouldn't be any need for hood pins etc - of course you can always add them if you like - it should be one of those 10min kind of mods where you just switch the hoods out. Then again, maybe we could also work something out where we can have those lifters instead of the hood stand like we do now to hold the hood open....
Truplay, thanks!!
