I have a quarter stuck under the front ashtray holder in my Automatic 05 G35 Sedan. What is the best way to get into the center console to get the quarter out? Should I just take it into the dealer? Will they charge me to get it out? Is this the right forum to ask this question?

 

Too lazy to find the post, but you pull down the plastic silver colar on the shift ***, then remove a little paper clip looking thing. Take the shift *** off, and just pull up on that part of the console.

 

Well I took the shift *** off and pulled a little on that part of the console. It wasn't coming off. Where is that thread you found?
