I would take off "G35" and infiniti emblem. Just leaving "I N F I N I T I" behind.
And I'm going to black spray the letters to match my car (black). in that way, it gives you 3D look

It all comes down to personal preference.
I know there are threads on this site where poeple have taken the time to do photo shops showing all the different configurations.

i would say, it depends on what you did to the car.. spoiler/no spoiler, color ( i dont think the DG would look as good with any), overlays/bodykits
but for a stock one ( white or black) with a spoiler i would just remove the g35, and replace the infiniti with the skyline.
but with the overlays, i would remove everything.. and just leave out the skyline.. or take everything off but leave the symbol

as others said: i took off the "G35" and left everything else on. it balances out the back end nicely. imo taking off anything more is too much, especially removing the I N F I N I T I. I do think leaving it stock is also just fine...
